SWRAGG volunteers create and care for the gardens and floral displays in planters and hanging baskets at 20 stations across Dumfries & Galloway, Ayrshire and Glasgow. None of this would be possible without them.
Whether you are an experienced gardener or a total novice keen to pick up some know-how, we could always use an extra pair of hands to help keep our stations looking lovely.
Could you see yourself planting, watering, weeding, pruning, trimming and dead-heading, at one or several stations in southwest Scotland? For more information about the Adopt a Station scheme, click here. If you are interested in volunteering with SWRAGG, or would like to know more, click here.
“I have been working on the gardens at Dumfries for over three years now and it looks so much better than when we first started. You get to meet a lot of people. I enjoy making the station look so good and it is relaxing and rewarding work.”
- Stephen, SWRAGG volunteer
